...do you keep socks and hats on small kids?! My 10 month old flat out refuses to leave either one on

Gap and old navy socks were the only ones that would stay on my kids. I would also use roobiez or pediepeds too. Those helped a lot.

Lol. No advice. My dd is 3 and still takes her socks off the minute we walk in the house.

For a girl you could put tights on under leggings if it's cold out. Or just do dresses and tights. Boys...i don't know!

HOW ON EARTH....
My DD is 10 months and is the same way. I'm going to look like the crazy mom that takes her baby out barefoot and without a hat in the middle of winter! I think I will have to put tights under her leggings and I'll have to try a hat that has a strap under the chin.

Practice. Keep putting it on. With hats, start with one with a chin strap. This has worked with 3 kids... they all put up a struggle.
