...can anyone tell me the good school districts surrounding huntington? Thanks!!

Huntington area...
Cold Spring Harbor, Syosset and Half Hollow Hills are all nearby.

While the above districts are all great, the main 2 "Huntington" school districts are Huntington, and South Huntington. I absolutely adore South Huntington school district. The administration and teachers are wonderful, the programs and events are varied and plentiful. They have dual language programs too. Also has so much to offer in terms of sports, arts, music and other programs. Plus, the parents and community are, for the most part, fantastic. I feel like these school districts used to have a bad reputation but they have improved by leaps and bounds over the past several years.

I agree south huntington is so much better than it used to be years ago. However huntington proper sd is not as good as it used to be. There is a lot of gang activity there now.
Cold spring harbor
Harborfields
Are both consistently ranked very high.
Northport
Elwood
Are both very good schools too.

I live in Harborfields which has a great school district and ranked high nationally.
We looked at all the Huntington as i lived in S.Hunt for 7 years before finding our home in Haborfields. All are nice include the Elwood/Northport area. You can't go wrong as each town has some pockets of areas.

I think all the school districts in the town of Huntington are pretty great, except Huntington SD. Particularly Half Hollow Hills, Commack, Cold Spring Harbor and Harborfields are very highly ranked.
