I was told DD was going to be big- like 8.5 lbs. She was a little 6 lb 8 oz peanut. She stayed in newborn clothes for quite some time. It's such a crap shoot. I wouldn't return anything just yet, but keep the tags on some stuff!
This! We were told the same, dd was only 6 pounds 12 ounces. She was in newborn for a little over a month.
