Is there enough to do there for a 14 month old or should I skip it?

I think it depends on the kid. My DS was a very active baby, walking on his own at 10 months. We took him at 14 months and he loved it. He was also very into Elmo. We only went on a couple of rides but he spent most of his time in the water.

Re: Sesame Place
We went last summer when DS was almost one. There weren't many rides he could go on. We spent time in the splash pad and I spent a fair amount of time walking him around in the stroller while he napped or fussed. We really went for my then 3 yo DD. I think one is probably too young.

Definitely depends on the kid. He needs to be independently walking to be able to go on rides. There are a bunch you can do asking he is. Add the water areas, a show, the parade I think you can have a fun time but that's assuming he's into all that stuff at the moment.

Re: Sesame Place
We went last summer when DD was 15 mo. She HATED it. Was scared of every single ride, even the merry go round. The only thing she liked was the lazy river, and she fell asleep in the tube every time.
DS was 3.5yo and loved it, so we really went for him.
I'd suggest going to a local merry-go-round, like Nunley's or The Source, first to see if she likes rides. If she does, then she can go on almost every ride at Sesame. They just require that the child can take 3 independent steps - and they did check that with DD.

I would skip it and wait till they are older.
If you are going to go anyway I would only do one day.
