School Projects/Activities etc- Long vent
That's insane...vent away! My DD is in first grade too and we don't have that many projects/activities. The teacher assigns one worksheet per night for Mon-Thurs. and that's it.

I thought of this thread when I looked in my daughter's folder this evening. There was a notice that they have to dress like they are 100 years old on Friday - - two days notice! Thankfully, she'll miss it because we're taking her out of school for the day so we can leave early for Vermont. But that's for another thread! LOL!

I competely understand! I don't mind the extra stuff but it hasn't been too much so far. (Kinder). The reading log was a little much for this mom who works in NYC and is crazy busy! I can bet no one could even read it as I scribbled down titles at midnight or 5 am!? Lol. We haven't had to do any crazy outfit yet, but I usually forget when its school color day.

Ugh that's awful! Reading all this makes my head spin. I'm going to be SOL when my twins are in school and I have double of these things to do. Shoot me now
