Which Bosch Dishwasher
Hi this will be my first time buying a dishwasher. I have a 12 year old kitchenaid now but rarely use it because it leaves food residue on my glasses despite thoroughly cleaning it.
I didn't grow up with a dishwasher so I have no clue what features to look for. From what I've researched Bosch seems to get great reviews. I want something that will dry the dishes completely, not leave food residue and is easy to clean, quiet is a bonus. Thanks!

Re: Which Bosch Dishwasher
Cannot recommend Bosch... First time renovating we used a Kitchen Aid, loved it.. 2nd time around went with Bosch and it crapped out after a few years and wound up replacing with a similar Kitchen Aid to our 1st one..

Re: Which Bosch Dishwasher
SHX8pt55uc This is the model I have. Only six months in, but I love it. Super quiet. You can hardly tell it's on. People are amazed. I use the recommended auto cycle with sanitize option. It's a bit long at 2 1/2 hours, but cleans very well. I have used the express cycle without a problem. Everything comes out dry except for grooves in plastic covers and stuff like that. I love the flexibility on the height of the racks, and totally love the utensil rack at the top. So much better than having a basket at the bottom. Knowing that bosch repairs can be costly, we got the extended warranty from PC Richards on it.

Re: Which Bosch Dishwasher
Got my Bosch from PC Richards. It is two years old and I still love it. It was about 900 with the install. Edit the buttons are hidden. I paid extra for a specific bar to hang my dish towel. I think it was a $50 upgrade, but for me, it is a feature I really wanted. It is extremely quiet. I also paid for the metal hose parts to connect to the water line.

I have a Bosch for about 18 months now. Love it. No problems. Super quiet. I think we paid $599 for it at PC Richards. I don't know the model. It's stainless steel and has the buttons on the front. My DH wanted that for some reason and that has proven to be a huge mistake because my toddler is constantly turning on the dishwasher.

Re: Which Bosch Dishwasher
I loved my Bosch dishwasher. I miss it. We built a new home and it came with a new Whirlpool Gold one that got great reviews. Even still, miss the Bosch. Ours was super quiet and my dishes came out clean and dry. Also, I liked the racks and the way they were set up bc I was able to organize dishes different ways and get lots on there.

Budget first. Then I would see what features you want or need.

Re: Which Bosch Dishwasher
I have a Siemens (same factory) dishwasher and it's OK. The dishes do not come out completely dry, especially the plastic. I don't have a problem with food residue and it's really quiet.
