OB/GYN that do IUIs?

Does anyone know of an OB/GYN or a midwife on Long Island (preferably Nassau County) that does IUIs?

I am looking to start with just simple unmedicated IUIs and don't want to go through all the testing and expense (I have no infertility coverage) of an RE.

Thanks in advance!

My OB does not do them -- she recommended an RE, but since I'm starting with unmedicated, self-monitored IUIs, I wanted to start with an OB. (REs are insanely expensive - 1K just for a simple unmedicated IUI, which is what I'm starting with. I have no infertility coverage OBs will do them for $ 200-$ 300 - if I could find one!).

Most OBs don't do them, but some do. So I wanted to know if anyone could recommend one on Long Island.

IMO, it's not worth it to do unmedicated and unmonitored IUIs without testing. Yes, and RE may be expensive, but if you're not getting pregnant on your own, there's probably a reason. Just doing an IUI give you a SLIGHTLY better chance of getting pregnant, but not much. And if there's an underlying cause, you're really just wasting your time and money.

Self-monitored? Do you have an ultrasound machine? And a lab for bloodwork? Because otherwise, it would be UNmonitored.

My SIL did 3 IUIs at South Bay OB/GYN in West Islip. Dr. Jurak did them.
