Recommend your toddler's bike
We are looking to get my DS a bike for his third birthday. After doing a little research, I realized that a properly fitted bike could cost us a decent amount of money.
What bike does your toddler have? What are the pros/cons of the bike.
TIA!
ETA: Do you think a balance bike would be more beneficial at this age and then we get him a real bike next year? From what I have been reading, bikes found at big box stores are not properly designed for toddler bodies.

Re: Recommend your toddler's bike
For a child that age, you don't need an expensive bike. They will outgrow it in a year or 2 anyway.. We just got DD's first 2 wheeler at Target. (it came with training wheels that we removed when she was ready to learn without them later on) It was great and lasted her until she got too tall for it and needed the next size up

DS went from a tricycle to a 2 wheel with training wheels. We bought him the 2 wheeler at age 4.

Of course they are going to say that- it's probably written by a manufacturer of some expensive toddler bike your child will outgrow in a year. She did awesome on her bike from Target- used it with the training wheels and last summer learned to ride without them. It was designed fine for her body. Trust me She's too big for it now so we are getting her a new one for this year. I have heard good things about a balance bike at that age though so maybe go that route
