BFP turned BFN?
On Monday I took a test and got a BFP. I was shocked and took another that day ...and the next day (I know I'm crazy)- all were positive. I took another test yesterday cause I had 1 left and it was negative. DH saw this and bought more tests. 2 came back negative and 1 came back positive. (one of the negatives was this morning). I have an appointment to go see the dr on the 24th but I'm just curious if this has ever happened to anyone. The nurse said "if you get your period cancel" and now of course I'm convincing myself I have cramps and will get my period soon.
Sorry for my rambling post but I'm just very confused. TIA.

BFP turned BFN?
It could be either a chemical, or that your hcg level is still very low so you are getting mixed results on tests. Unfortunately it's probably going to be a waiting game now to see what happens. Keep us posted <3
ETA: did you have your missed period yet?

BFP turned BFN?
My period has been all over the place since I've been off the pill (been off for 3 months) so I'm not exactly sure when I am supposed to be getting it.

Agreed. My first thought was chemical. But I had a lot of negative tests and have a one year old so it can really go either way, especially if you test before your missed period. I would also get ClearBlue Easy Digital- they pick up positives early and are a little more clear than "hmmm if I tilt my head this way and squint it kinda looks like a line..." Good luck! I hope those negatives turn into positives.

Sounds like maybe a chemical. I got a positive around 12dpo (later than other pregnancies). I had expired tests to use up so I took them daily and the lines got lighter after a few days until it was eventually gone. The next morning af showed up. Hopefully you have answers soon one way or another.

depends on what you're using. you need higher hcg for digitals, and some digitals detect earlier than others. Were they all the test, or all different brands?

I used First Response (1 positive - 2 negatives(both digital)), ClearBlue- all digital (2 positive- 1 negative) and Duane Reade (2 positive). ....typing that out made me look like a crazy person with all the tests I've taken..

Re: BFP turned BFN?
Are you using any blue dye tests? Those are the worst. The store brands are usually blue dye. They are notorious for evap lines.
The most accurate and the one able to detect the soonest is First Response Early Result

Same!!!!! Even with my twins and extremely high hcg early on I didn't even get a positive until my missed period yet I got a position from 8dpo on the first response and blue dye was negative!

Re: BFP turned BFN?
Are you holding your urine before you test? You could be drinking a ton to have to go but diluting your urine so much it's not getting an accurate read.

Re: BFP turned BFN?
I don't know, if it was a chemical then I would think the test would stay positive until after your period is over. Maybe you are just very early and some tests aren't picking it up?
