Mystic CT Recommendations?
Going to do an overnight with my DD soon. We are staying at the hotel at Mohegan.
Any recommendations for things to see and do in Mystic (we are planning on the Aquarium already)
Any restaurant recommendations for lunch?

We didn't go for lunch but we really liked the food at the Daniel Packer Inn (I think that's what it was called.)
They have a pub and a more formal restaurant. We ate in the pub. The food was excellent and it was filled with locals which is usually the mark of a good restaurant.

Mystic CT Recommendations?
We have eaten at Mystic Pizza which was fun, the Ancient Mariner and the Mystic diner.
Other than the aquarium, you can go to the Seaport and walk around/explore.

Re: Mystic CT Recommendations?
I really like the Seaport so much more than the aquarium... though I've been to both many times. The seaport has a really great interactive play with young kids that my kids loved and are wonderful explaining things to little ones...
For lunch, we have usually eaten at the seaport to make it easy. The food is surprisingly very good. It is not good at the aquarium. There is a good seafood place right by the bridge called S&P oyster co that I liked (and have gone to many times). Abbotts is a lobster shack not too far away in season that's popular but I wasn't too crazy about it (disclaimer is that I'm not too much of a lobster fan). Mystic pizza is cute if you are really into Julia Roberts. The ice cream on the drawbridge is really good.

We've gone many times, my kids LOVE Olde Mistick Village that is attached to the aquarium. We always have lunch at Mangoes, they have really good wood fired pizza.
The actual Main St. area is really nice, I suggest heading over there. There is a place called The Engine Room that has AMAZING food and a really cool rustic vibe. We loved it!!!

Mystic CT Recommendations?
If you like Mexican - I have been going to Margaritas in Mystic for about 15 years (not often, but whenever we're in the area). It's funny b/c the reviews aren't the best, but we've never had a bad experience and it's been packed every time I've been there.

We went to the aquarium in May and had lunch at Mangoes before and it was a perfect spot. The pizza and salads were great and totally family friendly.
