Looking for honest mattress stores on Long Island

What are the names of honest mattress stores on Long Island that sell mattresses of good value for the money? Mattress Firm and Macys did not impress me. I am willing to drive almost anywhere on Long Island. Also if you have any information on mattresses you want to share, I would be appreciative.

I might look for some kind of organic mattress when we replace ours. No idea where to go for it though. We've always had a good experience at Macy's, with sales. I think mattresses are always on sale though.

I went to Bobs today, because my son needs a bigger bed/mattress. We bought the bed from elsewhere, but need a mattress. The Bobopedic Sky was very comfy!! I was impressed!

We got ours at Raymour & Flannagan.
No pressure to buy, let us take our time when trying out various types.

We had an issue with a previous mattress that we had bought from there, we received a full credit because they were aware of numerous other complaints about this particular manufacturer.

I'm not a huge fan of Sleepy's, now called Mattress Firm.

We just bought DS a mattress at Mattress Firm and had a very good experience - perhaps you had a bad sales person? They have a huge selection. Two years ago we bought our mattress at PC Richards. We love our mattress, but there was less of a selection there.
