Hulu or Netflix?

Hi! We are in the process of converting an unused room in our house into DD's playroom. We are going to put a TV in the room but don't want to pay monthly for another cable box through Verizon. Since she's young, we figured she'd be happy watching pretty much anything so we're going to get a Roku compatible TV to stream things. We are already Amazon Prime members so I know we can get a bunch of stuff through there, but we are going to also do either Hulu or Netflix. Which, in your opinion, has the best "kids" content in terms of movies and TV shows? Thanks!

I much prefer Netflix but if you have cable you can add channels like Disney Jr for free on the roku.

You just add the channel on the roku and it tells you a website and code to go to to activate it where you put in your cable company and login info. I've only done Disney jr. as far as kids channels but I'm sure you could do the same for pbs kids or Nick or whatever channels you watch.

For me personally I am not a fan of Netflix for myself but they do have a big kids' selection. In fact they have a whole kids user that is all kids stuff

Re: Hulu or Netflix?

I also love how if you chose a series for your LO to watch, it will just play on to the next episode when the first one finishes...so you don't have to keep running in there when a 30 min show ends!

Definitely Neflix for kids stuff and as the other user mentioned you can add TV channels like Disney, Disney JR., Disney XD, Nickelodeon, and Nick Jr. You just verify you have a cable subscription including these channels.

Netflix is great for the kids. For adults, they have a good selection but not always the most up to date. But for kids, we love it!

My DD has the Roku TV in her room. We cut the cable years ago so we have both hulu and netflix. But since you have cable service you can download the channels on the roku and log in with your info to access everything. But in answer to your question Netflix, is way better for the kiddos.
