Disney's Once Upon a Christmas

Just a vent/warning...I know it's silly, but my 4 and 6 year olds truly believe in Santa and this show is terrible!! It basically has a whole part of the plot that questions Santa and whether he's real or not. I know they're going to find out eventually, but from Disney?? Ugh, just a warning before you let your kids watch this.

Yes! We watched it maybe two years ago with dd and made a note to avoid it knowing it could cause an issue when dd got older. Then when it came on Disney jr last night I checked and it looked like a different show so I let them watch. Next thing I knew that stupid one where Goofy's son doesn't believe came on! My kids were so engrossed (and exhausted) so I just let them watch. Thankfully my 5yo didn't say one peep about it. I don't get why they play something like that on Disney jr.

Yep.

Same with polar express. I think that’s ignored by many because they just focus on a train.

Re: Disney's Once Upon a Christmas

So many Christmas movies are based on the notion of a child not believing and it drives me crazy. My daughter is starting to truly question this year and I hate that all these movies focus on that

I was not happy whenI let my DD watch that when she was little also! It just put a thought into her head that actually WAS NOT THERE EVER.

Even the Great Pumpkin had a reference to Santa not being real - my 5 year old picked up on it.
