Instant pot question
So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. After I select pressure cook and enter the time it sits idle for a few minutes and then as it heats, steam escapes from the top. Is this normal? I have the knob thing at sealing. the knob is kind of loose, though. It takes about 15 minutes to actually start the cooking time.
Am I doing something wrong???

Re: Instant pot question
Thats totally normal. It needs to build pressure before it begins cooking.

Re: Instant pot question
Normal so yes add time to your total cooking time for this and release time
If you sauté something before putting the pressure on its quicker cause already heated up
