What would you pay for snow removal?
Asking for opinions to prove a point. 45x100 property sidewalk and 5 steps One car driveway. 2 cars. Takes 3 men 40 minutes to shovel. They won't give you a price. What do you give them?

Re: What would you pay for snow removal?
In this storm/weather is give $100. It’s brutal out there and the snow is very heavy.
If there was about 6” and not as windy/cold I’d give $60 or $75.

What would you pay for snow removal?
I paid $100 for a 2+ car wide driveway, walkway and part of the front porch(to get to the front door and a little more). Well worth it as far as I'm concerned (it was 4 people with 2 snowblowers. I'm not sure how long it took them -prob about 45 mins)

Re: What would you pay for snow removal?
I'd pay them more if they're shoveling than using a snow blower. That's a lot of work. I'd probably give at least $30pp

What would you pay for snow removal?
$80 is fair. But it really depends on how much snow it is. Yesterday was strange due to the drifts. Half my driveway and my entire rear patio you saw brick. On other parts there were two feet drifts.

So what did you pay?
I was asking for my parents, who had already paid. They gave a lot more than these quotes. They were paying a ridiculous amt through a contract with their landscaper previously, so they were basing the amount off that.

What would you pay for snow removal?
paying more for someone who shovels vs snowblower... they're doing the same job, one invested in capital equipment and has more expense, needs to haul it around, maintain it, etc The same job is getting done whether they use a snowblower or shovel...
And yeah, when you have 3 large able bodied adults tackling a task... it gets done quicker... They also have to do 3 times as many houses to make the same money as 1 person doing it...
I personally think the no price thing is BS, I wouldn't sign up to it. Agree on a price in advance when they see the job. What is fair for a 4-6 inch snowfall isn't for 2 inches or 16.

What would you pay for snow removal?
80 to 100. It doesn't really matter how many people. The going rate around here was 60 for 6 inches and 10 more for each inch above that.
