What are you givng your DS as a communion gift?
I have some ideas but was wondering if there was a"norm".?

We didn't specifically give my first daughter anything and won't give my younger one who is making communion this year a gift either.
We threw first DD a party and the gift money was invested for her.

I don't think we are getting her anything to be honest.
Anything I could give her that would be appropriate for a communion gift, I doubt she'd care about at this age.
She only cares about LOL dolls and Barbies to be honest.

We're getting DS an ipad.
Communion gifts were always large in my culture and this is something that's a compromise between a gaming system and nothing.

Nothing. But we don’t get our kids gifts for anything, really. (With the exception of Santa)

We hosted a family luncheon/party at a restaurant. And we bought his outfit, etc. Nothing else.

I hadn't thought about a gift for our DS, I'm not sure what I'll do. I don't remember if I got a gift for my FC. I did have a big party though. We're OOS and 1,000 miles away from family so no party so maybe we should get him something.
