40th birthday party help
So I am turning 40 in June and I am torn on what to do for it. I don’t like surprises so I already told DH no to a surprise party lol. I was thinking of doing either a brunch/dinner with about 15 people I am closest with. Or my DH mentioned a party where we would rent a private room and open it up to close friends and other friends of ours who we are not as close with but still friendly and maybe some family. Any ideas on what to do? I kind of have to make a decision soon since we have to book a place. Thanks in advance!!

40th birthday party help
My friend’s parents and husband rented a limo for a winery tour for her 30th and it was awesome. There were about ten of us. We went to three vineyards and went to Briermere’s at the end of the trip. It was a really nice day.

How about a brunch? Limani in Roslyn does an awesome brunch and I see parties there all the time.

Re: 40th birthday party help
Depends on what you want and what you like. For mine, we rented a small restaurant, I had a dj putting my favorite songs first to dance, and then a mariachi band lol. Hors d'oeuvres were passed and open bar for 3 hours. It was really fun and people liked it, but it was my style and what I wanted.

Sounds like fun! Did you invite both friends and family?

Yes, but I have few family members here, most are in my country.
