Potty Training Help
My son is a little over 2.5 and knows how to use the potty. He was doing really well with going on when we said it was potty time and there are no issues with his teachers at daycare getting him to try. He gets really excited when he goes. All of a sudden he is refusing to try and its driving me insane. I do everything i can to make it fun but my patience can only take so much. I dont know if i really should just stop asking and give it a break or keep pressing the issue. He has also started this lovely routine with brushing his teeth - however, he wont be getting off that easy with brushing. I just dont know what to do! Please help! Also wanted to make you aware that there is a new baby in the house - shes 2 months old - however he seemed to get better with the potty when she arrived even though you would think the opposite.

Potty Training Help
I would give it time. Maybe take a break for a few months and revisit when he's closer to 3. That's what worked for my dd. At 2.5 she was having a ton of accidents, but when she was a couple months shy of turning 3 she was ready and completely trained within a couple days.
