How is this school year almost over??
My son is finishing up his first year of kindergarten and Im realizing that this year is almost over! I can't believe it and it makes me sad. I feel like it went so much faster then when he was in pre-school. I think back to September when he started and how nervous I was and now I look at him and I can't believe how much he has learned this year. He is a different child and his teachers notice it too. He is going to be leaving his school and entering my home school which is great but Im nervous. He will be with his sister who is entering kindergarten and he will be in a general ed class for the first time ever. I will miss the integrated classroom but my home school does not offer it. I remember how slow it went when the winter was here and how fast it it is going now that we are entering the warmer months. I also can't believe how much goes on in June! This is such a busy month!

How is this school year almost over??
I feel the same way! Feels like just a few days ago I was so worried about my dd starting kindergarten, and now it's the end of the year already! The days a really flying by lately. I think it does feel that way because there are so many events this month. The winter months definitely felt like they went by much slower. Our school does report cards in trimesters, and the time between the 1st and 2nd report card felt like ages, and now she'll be getting her 3rd (and last) report card and it feels like we JUST got the second one

Ugh, I know!! Reading this reminds me of a post I made when DD was about to go into Pre-k. I was A MESS. And now, here she is, about to graduate K. I know people say this all the time - but time really does fly.

yup!!! it feels like yesterday i was SO upset about sending my oldest "off to wolves" for kindergarten.... and now he's almost a SECOND grader!!! (finishing up first grade now...) CRAZY!!! definitely feels like time is speeding up once they start "real" school!

Fasten your seatbelts because each year goes faster and faster. My oldest is going into 10th grade this year and he started kindergarten yesterday

 Nooo!! My daughter graduated from Pre-K yesterday and I was a mess. I was crying and so sad.

Absolutely this! My DS1 is going into 3rd grade (I'm OOS and we finished school 3 weeks ago) and I can't believe it. My baby. He was in K a blink of an eye ago.

Now the summer Im sure will feel like its taking forever when Im trying to entertain 3 kids but the school year goes so fast!
