TOH vs TOB
Hi everyone. I have lived in the TOH my whole life and most recently (the past 7 years) in Bellmore. We have 2 children and have spent the past 5 years hanging out at Cedar Creek Park, wantagh park, Forrest city pool and park... Now we are moving to Massapequa. I know nothing of the parks and pools there. I am very excited to be able to go to Tobay beach but other than that, I know nothing. Who can fill me in on the best places to go as a new TOB resident? Will I miss TOH much? (I’m getting nervous...)

Cedar creek and wantagh are county parks so you still can use them. T of oyster bay has a few pools at parks.

Re: TOH vs TOB
-Marjorie Post Park. It’s a big pool and park is nice, too. They also have ice skating in the winter there, I believe. -Florence Avenue beach is a calm beach. -There is Caroon’s Lake, but I sometimes feel it has turned a little dogdy there. The bike path is nice. -John Jay Burns park
^^^ Those are all in Massapequa.
Obviously, TOBAY. It’s expensive for parking, but just get the season pass. There is the bay and ocean side.
Here is a good site to look up more:

Re: TOH vs TOB
I think the only one you won't be able to use is Forrest City pool as that is a TOH pool.
TOB has Tobay beach which has a nice spray park for the kids.

TOH vs TOB
We got to Marjorie Post pool often and love it. Clean and big and there is a nice park there also.
We also love TOBAY. We usually go to the bay side since we have small kids and they love the spray park. The yearly pass is like $60 or it's $20 a day to park.
