Too cool for a pool party tomorrow?
I'm planning a pool party & bbq tomorrow for my DS birthday. The weather looks so/so cloudy and 73. My pool is heated. I'm worried that parents won't want the kids to swim. Your thoughts?

My kids will swim in any weather. 73 isn't that cool, and at least if it's overcast there will be less concern about the sun. I'd think a pool party will still be fine.

Agreed. WE keep ours on 86 and feels real warm. Especially when the pool is warmer than the air temp. Have fun and enjoy! Kids will go in in any weather.

If my kids want to swim even if I let them. I always think there gong to be in for 2 minutes and say its cold and get out but they never do
I would let the parents know that its heated in case they are concerned its too cold for them to go in it.

Re: Too cool for a pool party tomorrow?
Just heat it up and it will be fine. The water will be warmer than the air and that always feels great
My DD had a friend sleep over a few weeks ago and they wanted to night swim. The temp dropped a lot that night and the air was 74 and the pool was 82- the pool felt like a hot tub!

My kids went to a pool party yesterday. It was about 65 and got cooler towards the end of the party. They all went swimming.

Although it was chilly and drizzled here and there all the kiddos swam and no one was cold! It turned out great! The pool was like bath water at 86. I made sure to run the towels in the dryer if they got wet from them drying off so that they had dry towels everytime they got out.
