my polenta failed
never made it before. followed the recipe to the letter. came out a mushy gruel. not thick enough. thoughts from anyone who knows how its done?
my cooking skills are below par in the best of times.

my polenta failed
I usually just buy the case of polenta (tube thug) cook with a little half and half or heavy cream or milk, whatever I have, I usually just add the milk a bit as I go, I try and gauge, I do add some butter. I don’t add chicken broth which is a usual thing people add

Do you have an instant pot? I feel like polenta comes out the best in it.

maybe i'll do this. yes the recipe called for veg broth

I use this recipe but cut in 1/2 because it makes a lot. I will say cooking polenta takes time. I cook it for about 45 minutes. It comes out like silk. Just keep cooking and stirring. Then add the milk, butter cheese. Cheesy Polenta
