beef and barley soup

Does anyone have a good recipe for beef barley soup?

I love the soup but have never made it.

I don’t have a recipe but I like buying the beef with bones and simmer with water (don’t add too much water or you can add stock). I add carrots, celery, onions, garlic and seasoning. I cook the barley separately so it doesn’t absorb all the liquid. Once the meat is tender I shred and take off the bones and add the barely before serving. I cook the meat until tender, probably at least 2-3 hours.
