Recommend a good weekly deep conditioner
I usually do a deep conditioning once a week- sometimes more if my hair feels fried or needs a trim.
Right now I use Aussie 3 Minute Miracle and it's good but looking to switch it up a bit.
Anything good for a weekly deep conditioning?

Goldwell Kerasilk...it is amazing. It isn't cheap but the tub lasts for months because you don't need to use a lot of it.
When I want to do something more often I use Suave Keratin conditioner. I put in in my hair after the shower and sleep with it in. I usually only do this in the summer because (1) I can't stand sleeping with wet hair in the winter (2) it can leave your hair flat the next day - even after washing it out the next morning. In the summer my hair is either up or I do it on the weekend when I know I will be spending the next day just hanging around the house/pool.

I received a sample of the Living Proof from Sephora, a pretty good size tub. But, I don't like it, does nothing for my hair.
I buy the little packets of "Shea Moisture" from Harmon or Target. It has Manuka Honey in them, and I absolutely love it! I can get a few uses out of the packets.

Coco & Eve. I swear this stuff has transformed my hair. My stylist has even commented and said, “keep doing what ever you’re doing.” It has even worked wonders on my mom’s dry, brittle hair.

Its pricey but one tub will last a pretty long time.

I googled it and watched one review where she didn't feel it was any better than the $4 Suauve she used on the other side of her head.
But like anything else with skin or hair products what works great for one person's hair or skin is awful for someone else's. So I guess it's really just trial and error.

I use OGX; I also switched from the Aussie one. I liked it too, but I feel like if I don't change hair products once in awhile, my hair almost becomes immune to them.

Also expensive, but a little goes a long way. They also have a formula for cuirly/coily/kinky hair. It is the only thing that has made my hair feel shiny, soft and bouncy without being slimy. My salon even uses it now! Sephira Mineral Mud
They have a ton of hair products on there!

That's actually a great idea. Didn't think of that.
So i was in Trader Joe's today for other stuff and just happened to look in the hair care section and they had a Shea Butter and Coconut oil hair mask for $3.99. I picked it up. I figure for 4 bucks even if it's not great, it's worth a shot!

Let me know how it is. I sometimes use the Neutrogena one in the tub and it's pretty good.

Re: Recommend a good weekly deep conditioner
I've just started using the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque weekly for 30 mins with a heat cap. So far so good, but I know these things take time.
I've done for ages in the shower deep treatments and have had no results. I figured it was time for me to stop being lazy and put in the effort.
I bought and used the TJ's one you mentioned. It was good. Unfortunately my hair is dry, damaged, curly and needs more.

So i used the TJ one but I put it on, wrapped my head in a plastic bag, and then put a hot towel from the dryer over that. I left that on for about 30 minutes then washed it out and conditioned as normal. It worked better than if I had just used it for the 3-5 min in the shower I think. Was it life changing? No. But for $4 it did the job. I probably need something more though, yes.

I seriously wish there was something that would give immediate results. I keep doing these treatments trying to stick it out that the damage didn't happen overnight so the repair won't either, blah blah... but I'm still holding out for that miracle product for my hair!
I know people (curly) rave about the Deva Curl products (incl deep conditioner) but that stuff has so much protein in it that my hair is actually a LOT worse - it turns to straw. So that's the other problem...what works for some might not work for you.

True and to be honest- there is only so much you can do for damage. Sometimes it needs to be cut off (like if it's on the ends) or grown out and cut off eventually. I feel like these products can only do so much to make it APPEAR better, but once damage it's done, it's done and really can't be "fixed"
