Tipping Party Host

How much do you typically tip a kid’sparty host at an outside venue? $25? $50? 15-20%?

She’s basically just setting up food and clearing tables, it’s a inflatable place so she’s not doing any of the entertaining herself etc.

The bill for the party will be almost $500, I feel like a 20% tip of $100 is a bit steep. Am I wrong?

My DH gave the lady 20% on a $600 party tab, I almost punched him when he told me. I personally think $25-$30 is good. I think I gave $40 to my DDs party host, but she went above and beyond that day so I felt like she deserved more. In the past I usually gave $25-$30.

In that instance I’d say $25 or $30.

We tipped $50 to each hostess at white post but they ran the party and helped a bunch of 2 year olds feed animals so they deserved extra.

My sister was a party host at Skyzone. $20-$25 would be the norm. She was very excited to get anything more. She did bust her butt though

Thank you all! The party is being held at Xplore. My husband said $75-100 and I nearly puked!

I usually do $20-25 depending on how many hosts are working the party.
