Swing Sets
Hi!, I am looking to buy a swing set for my son. Where did buy yours from? How much was it? How many swings, slides, anything else on it? My son is 2 so I am looking to get years out of the swing set (I'm figuring between the time he is 8 and 10 he will be done using it).
Any help or recommendations on where to look would be great! Thank you!

Re: Swing Sets
We got ours at Creative Playthings about 7 years ago. It's still going strong. We paid about $2800.

Swing Sets
I ordered a Backyard Discovery set from Walmart and hired a handyman to assemble it. I priced out the set through different sites (amazon, the brand site, etc)

Re: Swing Sets
We got ours from Costco. 1,000. 1 double slide, 1 enclosed twisty slide. 2 swings, 1 of the hanging trapeze(?)bars. Bottom level has like an outdoor kitchen play area. It has stairs and a rock wall going up to the platform/play area with the slides.
I saw the Costco one out this year. I think they added a third level.

Love our Costco swingset. We actually got our a while back and it was on sale. Not as big as the ones they are making now, but has a swing, two levels with the rock wall, club house area, picnic table, swings and money bars. Got it about 5 years ago and still looks good.

Re: Swing Sets
Seriously, check FB marketplace or Craigslist, we got a HUGE set in perfect condition with all the bells and whistles/upgrades, other than needing a fresh coat of stain, for like $400.

4 years ago we got one from Walmart. It is amazing to this day! Backyard Discovery is the brand. It was under 500.

We love ours! It was a lifetime brand from Home Depot. It was around 1500 bucks and DH put it together himself basically without help, he just needed me to lift one thing. He ordered online and had it shipped to the store to save shipping costs, then he rented the pickup truck at Home Depot for $20 to transport it home (lots of big containers and pieces to transport it but would have been a few hundred to ship to the house and it was only curbside delivery) ours is made of powder coated metal and that hard plastic and it’s so sturdy.....

Re: Swing Sets
If you know some handy people, definitely hit up Facebook or Craigslist. Ours is a Wood Kingdom set that retails for $2899 and we got it for $120. We had to replace a couple of beams and the swings but all in with stain, it was like $400. It's held up great!

Re: Swing Sets
We designed one at wood kingdom. It is a Swing Kingdome set that we custom designed on line. We went PVC because the wood ones rot and I feel like the PVC ones look nicer over the long run. It was pricey but totally worth it.

We bought one used. We paid $200 for it. It cost $75 to rent a uhaul to get it home. It was old and we honestly had to replace almost every piece of wood. But all in, we were at less than $1000 and our swing set is 25 feet tall and has 3 stories. I would not have been able to touch it at retail. I looked up the price of just the slide and it was over $800.
