Bakers cyst
Hey guys
Does anyone have this? I’m not sure if I do. The bend of the back of my knees feels somewhat puffy. I went to my regular dr a few months ago. They told me it’s nothing. But it’s a nagging feeling that comes and goes. I just want to get it checked out
Is there a particular doctor I can go to to see if this is what I have ?

Bakers cyst
I have one. None of my MD ever did a thing about. One new years eve it was so big and painful I actually could not bend my left or step down on it. It fluctuates, gets big then your body absorbs some fluid and it decreases in size. For the most part it doesn't bother me

Re: Bakers cyst
Thanks for writing back-I’m not sure if I have that or something else
The fold of the backs of my knees feel puffy. Not like one hard ball lodged in there just somewhat puffy overall and randomly, and I feel it most when i bend my legs. Like when I’m scrunched up on the couch or one leg under my butt when I’m sitting
Should i avoid certain shoes , or massage the backs of my knees?
40s gonna be awesome lol

Re: Bakers cyst
It’s funny you posted this, I’ve had the exact same issue though mine is more on the side of my knee. It didn’t occur to me that it could be a bakers cyst.
I guess you’d see a GP. I don’t have a GP so I can’t do that but you should and then tell me what they said to do about it

Re: Bakers cyst
Lmaoooo!!! Sounds like a plan!!
I had gone months ago- cuz that’s when I felt this puffiness. I had worn wedge heels from 7am til like 10 at night and I was Literally on my feet all day. A few days later I had a faint horizontal black and blue in the crevice of the back of my one knee but both backs of knees felt puffy.
Dr said the black and blue could’ve been caused by anything and the puffiness is bilateral and normal anatomy
Few weeks later I prob read something that freaked me out so I went to my cardio to see if they could do a scan in case there was a blood clot forming there- I was hopping a flight at that point and i was all of a sudden very nervous
No clot nothing at all
So I chalked it up to a blip
But now I still feel like a faint.... discomfort? Not pain. And I feel it randomly.
Anyway sorry for going on and on I’m sure it’s nothing
But I’ll tell you what my dr says you should do lol
