Any good hotel recommendations in the area of the Aquarium? I am looking for something with a 1 or 2 BR suite and indoor pool. Thanks!

Re: Mystic CT
We stayed at residence inn Marriott last time we went (our focus was actually Mohegan Sun, which was sold out because of a comedian).
It was very clean, good breakfast and roomy. It had an indoor pool that we didn’t end up going to because of time.
I’m loyal to Marriott because of points... but it was really very nice. I’d go back.
There are bigger and smaller places. Just figured I’d write something since this board is so quiet now!

They have an outdoor pool, but we stay at Hyatt Place when we go. Very clean, decent breakfast, central to everything.

We stayed at the Hilton mystic two weekends ago. It was clean, very central to everything and had an indoor pool. I can’t speak about two bedroom suites it was just my husband and I. The breakfast was delicious also.

Re: Mystic CT
Whenever we go to Mystic we stay at Mohegan Sun. It's about 10-15 min away and the hotel is gorgeous with a great indoor pool, shopping and lots of restaurants. *we don't gamble whatsover, but just love the hotel. They even have a kids' arcade

and their kids club babysitting service is AWESOME! We only stopped there to eat and look around one day on our way camping. I dropped my daughter in the club (very secure and she loved it), my son was a young adult,so played in the arcade, and I hit a slot machine and won $750!

the kids club babysitting is awesome. We also go there when we go camping and DD (8.5) actually asks "can we please go to Mohegan?" just because of the kids club!

It's funny, my 9 year old asks to go to Mohegan too! But she says it's because she loves the pool and the "mall" (the shops between the casinos) LOL

We stayed right in the Howard Johnson. It was perfect for what we needed and close to everything.
