Ripped Jeans are getting out of control....
....really? Why not just wear denim shorts? $68 to look like you got caught in a piece of farm equipment....

Re: Ripped Jeans are getting out of control....
I went shopping for jeans recently.
I wear a somewhat larger size, I am over 50. Ripped jeans, tight skinny jeans, low rise were 95% of the jeans available in Macy's Herald Square in the plus size department.
Not A Good Look
Walked out empty handed, wound up ordering "normal" jeans from Talbots and liking them. A slight bootcut and a girlfriend jean style.

Yeah I've given up on jeans. I won't wear ripped jeans period. Then in addition nothing fits right. Nothing. I am convinced they don't make jeans to fit me. I'm an anomaly. If they do fit, an hour later they are bagging out so bad that I can pull them down without undoing the button or zipper. If they do fit, I hate the style and feel frumpy. If they do fit, they flatten my ass to a pancake. Just over it.

Try Diane Gilman jeans from HSN. So comfy and woman friendly. The run big, so size down.

Not to mention how it accentuate the knees. I’m sorry but knees never need to be accentuated. When’s the last time you heard someone say “ hey, she has amazing kneecaps!”

Omg yes! My eye keeps getting drawn to the wrinkley skin on the knees. Not a good look.
It amazes me what people will wear because "someone" decided it was a trend.

I was totally thinking this model has "old" knees! Not attractive!

I spit out my coffee. Most of the time I am trying to hide my knees. Each one has a long scar from knee replacement surgery.

i went back to the picture after this comment. really started looking at it.
her foot arch is also wrinkly. makes me think she's in her 50s at least. and then you pan up, and there's her exposed belly button, making her look like a teenager. the top and bottom halfves of her body don't fit together.
