Photographer for small wedding
My sister will be getting married next year and doing a smaller wedding (under 70 people). DH and I want to pay for her photographer as part of her gift. Does anyone know a good photographer who will shoot a smaller scale wedding in Eastern Nassau (Farmingdale) area? She's doing a church ceremony than a reception in Farmingdale. It will be in February 2021. TIA

Photographer for small wedding
I’m just guessing, but I don’t think photographers base their prices on how many guests are there. They’ll still be there the whole time, so the price would be the same if it’s 70 people or 300 people.

For the most part this. However, we had a small, quick wedding (only engaged 7/8 weeks), and got an excellent deal on our photographer. We had less than 40 people, but more importantly only had our photog for 4/5 hours, which is half the usual time. We had a sit down dinner, no dj/dancing, and no cocktail hour. Formal pics went quick bc there were small families, and getting ready was quick bc i had my hair/makeup done off site and just got dressed at our venue. I think they came 30 min before and stayed until cake.

This. Particularly since it’s a church ceremony. Perhaps you could shave off an hour or so if it’s a shorter reception but I can’t imagine that would affect price much.

My FIL and his wife used her for their wedding and I recently used her for my mom's 60th bday party. She is reasonably priced and gives you all the photos on a USB drive.
