Amazon prime delivery timing
Has anyone used Amazon prime and gotten things quicker than they state? I want to order something and it says April 30th on prime, yet another company on Amazon will have it here next week. Has anyone found the amazon prime date to be accurate, waiting a few weeks? Not sure if I should order through this other company through Amazon to get it here two weeks earlier than the Amazon Prime date.

I have found I have been getting it faster.
I had something that when I ordered it over the weekend it said it would be here this coming Saturday.
Then I got an update that it shipped and would be here on Friday.
I got it this morning.
I have a few others like that as well. I think they are giving you a date that is kind if like "at the latest" but I have found most stuff does show up a bit earlier.

Thanks. It's just a computer chair. Do most try to order through Amazon directly? I see an office furniture store through Amazon will have it here sooner. I just worry if I have to return

Amazon prime delivery timing
I ordered something yesterday. Originally said it would be here 4/27 - 5/1. Today I got an email that it will arrive by 4/17

Normally, they often delivered things before the estimated delivery date. Now, I think everything is up in the air. They are doing the best they can, and putting priority on "essentials".
Unfortunately, "essentials" is an opinion. How do I explain to Amazon that these rolls of 3D printer filaments are only going to be used to make PPE related items, so I need them soon, but these other rolls of filament will be used to make toys and gadgets for myself when things calm down?...

Amazon prime delivery timing
I ordered something on Sunday and it is being delivered today. It said it would be delivered anywhere btwn the 10th and 20th when I placed the order.

I think they're overestimating delivery times because of the guarantee. If it arrives late, they usually discount or refund the item. They refunded 100% of an order for me because it was super late at the beginning of this whole lock down. They told me to donate the items if I don't want them anymore.

My orders have been late. I am still waiting on formula. Expected April 6 and so far has not shipped.my dh ordered wipes. We have 3 kids under 2. He only received 1 box and they cancelled the rest of the order. I ordered an easter book and it actually arrived before easter, however my easter candy will be late. I have to think about 3 weeks ahead if I order from amazon.
