Crafts and activity ideas
So we're all stuck at home. I have 2 boys that are 10 and 8 (5th grader and 3rd grader).
We have biked all over the town, lots of walking the neighborhood and walking the dog, did neighborhood scavenger hunts with the local families, some board games and of course... lots of video games, phones, Fortnite, and let's not forget we seem to have a birthday drive by parade about 4 - 5 times a week. LOL
My 8 year old finished a BB8 Lego set, which was cool.
Any other craft or activity ideas? What are you guys doing? Our friends around the block has girls and they are making bracelets for a charity.
What is a good craft I can order for the boys that they can do? Please post Amazon links too. Good lego sets? Art? Origami you suggest?

I have a 10 year old DD- she makes slime a lot. She made moonsand, her own play dough. We also made a "laser maze" with streamers in a hallway and then used nerf guns to battle each other getting through. Her new pogo stick arrived today. She has a skateboard and is slowly mastering it. She does puzzles (1000 piece, we set it up out of the way and she goes back and forth to it every day). Lots of Legos. we've been baking- cakes/cookies/pancakes. She helps with dinner/lunch- learning to cook. Pinterest has lot of cool ideas and many you can do with household products you already have or a quick amazon order. We got a tye dye kit we'll be trying out next week. I'm letting her dip dye her hair purple this week.

I am going to make chocolate pretzel pizzas with my kids today. You can probably google images but you need pretzels, white and milk chocolate and toppings like mini M&Ms, sprinkes, chocolate chips. Cute activity and then they can eat it after. Will probably not occupy all that much time to be honest.

I ordered them a kids garden kit. They love to garden with my mom - but since they can't see her I thought this would be something fun for them. It should come tomorrow so they can do that this weekend.

Re: Crafts and activity ideas
I’ve found a pack of construction paper to be hours of fun. My kids are younger but my daughter made flowers, bugs, and sun and hung them up in our den. My son made a solar system.
You could have them make cards for a nursing home or signs to hang up in your window - anything from thanking first responders to even a funny joke for walkers/ delivery drivers.

I ordered chalk markers on Amazon and we have done the windows. That's been the extent of the craftiness around here to be honest. We normally do a lot of that stuff, but my kids have been playing a lot of Roblox because I'm over the 24/7 entertainment thing.

Did you think about ordering from Kiwi or Little Passports? They both have science kits.

I was about to say, I bet they would love the kiwi crates (or whatever the older level is called) STEM activities they can build together.
