Yesterday was DD"s best friend's bday
Her mom put together a zoom meeting for all the friends so they could "hang out" a bit and sing Happy birthday to her.
We dropped a gift off on her porch.
A lot of people are doing birthday drive by parades too

In our town we are doing birthday parades. I also see zoom birthday meetings too.
A lot of parents are really making the most of it and I love to see the birthday child's happy face waving at all their friends and family passing by.
I see a lot of balloons too and signs.
A friend had a chalk the walk birthday messages on facebook where friends wrote ith chalk on the driveway or sidewalk too.
Make the most of it, bake a cake, order some gifts online or food packages.

Birthdays during this quarantine
One of our friends dropped off cupcakes at kids houses, then zoomed to sing happy birthday. Another did a pizza party (dropped off pizza kits) at the kids houses and they all cooked togther over zoom. Some are doing birthday parades.
Our daughter's bday was the first week of the stay at home order so none of this stuff was really done yet and we just had her favorite dinner, a cake and facetimed grandparents. We told her she can have a party once everyone is allowed to go out.

My daughter turned 13 a couple of weeks ago. I felt bad since it's a milestone bday and she didn't get to do anything. We did a cute photo shoot in my studio set up at home with a toilet paper cake and a real smash cake  My sister decorated the lawn using pool noodles with cardstock to look like candles, and cut out "Happy Birthday" signs. It came out super cute!! One of her friends decorated our front door also. We had cake and sang with my sister and nieces on video chat, ordered Chinese (her fav), let her make slime all day. She did have a good day, but the whole thing was still kind of sucky. Today is my niece's and everyone sent my sister a Happy Birthday video which she complied together to show my niece. She also decorated their lawn. I dropped off a pinata full of candy and money for her to do on her own.

My sons birthday was before this but we have cake as a family and that is it so birthdays (mine is next month) would be the same.
