Blood and Plasma Donation
I have been seeing a lot of posts being shared on FB requesting plasma donations from people who have already tested positive for Covid-19. Does anyone know if a person who has tested positive can donate to a person who hasn't tested positive? I know on the questionnaire you have to fill out to donate blood they ask if you have ever tested positive for certain things because it will disqualify you from donating.

Blood and Plasma Donation
I believe the answer is yes, donating to someone who has not tested positive will pass the anti body's to them which is okay

Re: Blood and Plasma Donation
I've donated whole blood and platelets a couple of times since the end of March. The current belief is that the virus is not transmitted via blood. You can donate as long as you are not actively sick & they are not testing donated blood products for Covid-19. I wish they would test it, because that would broaden the number of donors that would be able give plasma for the convalescent plasma project.
