The above poster stated that her daughter got this, and thinks its from the carpet cleaner. So, it would make sense. More chemicals being used and everyone cooped on inside. Who knows.

The inflammatory response being seen is basically the immune system going into overdrive. That is MORE likely to happen in healthy children without pre-existing conditions. It isn't COVID specific at all. It can happen after any illness.
My heart breaks for these families.
Here's the thing though - the adults who get severe cases of COVID, are the ones with the immune response in overdrive. Immune overdrive manifests in kids as Kawasaki, or something similar. In adults it manifests differently.
