Sharing from a friend...

This is what a friend that’s a lawyer shared with us...

“I received this email from the NYS Bar Association..... Scary!

Good evening Members,

NYSBA’s Health Law Section, in a report issued today, recommends that a COVID-19 vaccination should be mandatory for all New Yorkers except those whose doctors exempt them.

The Health Law Section said a rapid mass vaccination plan should be launched in New York as soon as a safe and viable vaccine becomes available, citing Jacobson v. Massachusetts, a 1905 U.S. Supreme Court case that upheld the authority of states to enforce compulsory vaccination laws. The plan should also prioritize vaccines for essential health care workers and vulnerable New Yorkers who are at highest risk of infection, the report states.

“The current pandemic shows us how unsafe we all are when we face a virulent contagious disease without a safe and effective vaccine, widely administered,” said Hermes Fernandez, chair of the Health Law Section and attorney at Bond, Schoeneck & King.”
——————-

Tbh I can see this happening especially considering how much legislators were pushing for vaccine mandates last year and how fast it happened. It blows my mind the kind of place we’re living in!

You are being annoying. She is sharing an email that was sent to her and she shared where it came from. The reader can make their own conclusion...

Hmmmm do you think it’ll be along the same lines as needing all vaccines for school? Or just in general, if you live in NY you must have a vaccine or get out? Lol
I’m leaning towards getting out anyway soooo that may be What finally kicks me in the butt to make the move

This is the full report. It is over eighty pages, but the excerpt posted above is correct. The State government is permitted to mandate its citizens vaccinate under the emergency powers acts and prior case law.

Interesting

I’m afraid I have to say yes. If not for adults (at least not yet), def for school. The reason why I’m leaning towards a yes, it’s because of what we went through last year with the vaccine mandates. They very conveniently used the measles outbreak to push forward their vaccine mandate bills. These bills passed the assembly, and senate floors, and were signed by Cuomo literally a few minutes later on the same day! These bills were passed when numbers were already declining, as a matter of fact there were 20 ppl reported with measles in June when the bills passed, then there were 6 in July, 0 in August. Then miraculously measles disappeared with Cuomo’s magical signature. To make things more suspicious, they only didn’t make the mmr mandated (u’d think it’d only be that one because of the outbreak) but all the vaccines under the suggested schedule, even vaccines for diseases that shouldn’t pose a risk for school age kids like Hep B. They got away with this because they used public health to justify their actions but a lot of ppl focused on the religion part when in reality it had nothing to do with it. They were able to get away with this with 0 deaths. Covid has actually killed ppl, this is the reason why I think they will push really hard to add any covid vaccine to the already mandated schedule for kids that go to school. I’m hoping I’m wrong cause nobody should have to vaccinate their kids because the government is forcing them to do so. I’m also hoping they don’t go after homeschoolers and demand us to vaccinate our kids. If that’s the case, I literally have no other option but to move out of NY. My husband and I are already planning to do so but not for at least another 5 yrs. Unfortunately if things change in NY, I’m afraid our move will happen much faster Chat Icon. Oh and Hoylman (the same legislator that last yr sponsored one of the bills to make vaccine mandatory) has already prepared a bill that would authorize any pharmacist to give a covid vaccine. Why would they pass a bill for a vaccine that doesn’t even exist yet? Chat Icon

We’re only looking for states where there would be less probabilities for mandates to happen and one of those states is S. Carolina. So when are we all moving?? Chat Icon

You think they can rename this site "Carolina Families (CAF or CLF)?

Texas seems like the new place to be. So many people who move there love it. We are liking Mount Pleasant, SC, just outside of Charleston. We also like Frisco, just outside of Dallas. Really starting the research.
