Lake George
We're thinking about going to Lake George in August. We have never been there and know nothing about the area.
We're looking for a resort that has the following:
-Recently Updated -Outdoor Pool -On the lake with a beach -Walking distance to town or close to the trollie that takes us to town -Restaurant or cafe on site -On-site water sport rentals
Any recommendations or information about the area would be much appreciated!

Re: Lake George
We stay at Surfside. They renovated the hotel. They have everything you are looking for. They just recently added an outdoor dining area with a bar overlooking the lake.

Lake George
We are looking into this too. I did a search and found Lakefront Terrace, which I'm looking into. Seems to fit in with most if not all of your requirements

Thanks!! I was looking at this resort earlier. There's so many room options. Any recommendations?

We usually stay lakeside, because we bring our own kayak, so we dont have to keep renting one. I just read, they are cancelling their weekly fireworks They do an amazing display. They do them every Thursday after July 4th.We always booked our days around seeing them.

Re: Lake George
There is so much to do. My kids are active, so we do horseback riding, rented a boat and went fishing, ride the Minne-ha, ha, Tubby tubing, parasailing, they have a rodeo further up the mountain, they have mini-golf, Great Escapes is close by. WE also rented jet-ski's in Bolton Landing. We also took a drive to Fort Ticonderoga. Love it up there.
