Lemonade Cupcakes....ever make them ?
I was at Waldbaums and saw these lemonade cupcakes in the bakery department ...Bought them for the kids...
OMG- so good 
Now I'm on a mission to duplicate them  Found some recipes online, but was wondering if anyone had a recipe that they have tried and love

Holy Moley those came out beautiful
I made them last night as well, only I got lazy and just made a glaze from confectioners sugar and the PL concentrate to put on the cupcakes. I'll take pics later

So far, so good! My husband had one last night (he's so selfless....he sacrificed for me!) and he said they were good! The cupcakes could have a little more pink lemonade flavor in them, but the icing had it.

I tasted one (or two....) and I loved it!! I can see how not everyone would like them...but I thought they were yummy.
The cupcake didn't have a ton of flavor, but the icing did, so it wan't overpowering.

I just made mine, tasted the icing and one cupcake separately, they are good, but I agree could use a little more lemonade in the cupcake itself. Im about to attempt the dual color swirl icing and Im afraid of how it might go, LOL! Any tips?

I put both colors of icing in the piping bag together (one on each side) and squeezed it out. It was much easier than I thought.

I didnt have the ribbon nozzle, just a little star, but it did the trick, next time I need a different nozzle and more food coloring (probably the gel kind). The look cute and are SO good!

I like that idea!
The ones at Waldbaums you could definately taste the lemon in the cake ...And they were super moist...maybe pudding would do the trick!

here are mine - crappy itouch picture but you get the idea. I did add food coloring to the cupcake itself to make it pink.
