Desperate for Computer/iTunes Help/Photo Help

I cannot even get into the whole thing because I can't lose my mind at work like I did last night - but DH put all the music on the dump drive before we took computer in to get fixed.

Now, dump drive is not working - all of the music though is on multiple ipods - what can we do? can we get the music back on the computer? Will we lose the music on our iPods?


2nd F-d up situation:

Computer guy cleaned up everything -

we need to re-install Nikon Transfer for our camera

ALL of the Nikon Transfer folders that contained all the Jordan's pics since his birth are gone - after I had a complete meltdown - I found a memory stick that he had most of the pics on - thank g-d - DH seems to think when we re-install Nikon Transfer - the pics will come back -= but that doesn't make sense to me - computer guy SWEARS there were no Nikon folders that contained pics - but we certainly didn't delete them...


Please help!

for the music, i know there is a program, wish I knew the name sorry, but it will transfer the music. It is about 25 dollars for the program.
ETA: here is a google search of it... just not sure of the kind of computer you have

the program i use to transfer music from my ipod to my computer is called Xilisoft Ipodrip.
