Has anyone ever volunteered for Habitat For Humanity?
I would love to do it. I looked on the website. Do they not build in the winter months?

I have worked with them in the past. It is a great organization. I do believe they work in winter months but they also take volunteers for their store as well.

I worked with HFH for years when I was in high school. I did a build in Central Islip and Kings Park. I was very active and LOVED the organization.
I am not sure when they build, but there is always a way to volunteer during the winter months I am sure!

I also did it in high school.
It was a great experience! We put the roof up-funny bc i ended up marrying a roofer
I always think about the people who live there. i should have paid better attention to where it was
