Re: Still not losing
This just happened to me this morning. I have been dieting and exercising for the past week and a half (ok I know it hasn't been that long) and my clothes fit the same and the scale says the same . I was so upset this morning. DH tells me he can see a difference in my tush, but I don't know if he was just saying that to get *** I am definitely going to keep up with it but it is just upsetting to not see any results.
Keep it up, it sounds like you gained muscle and lost fat if you are working with a trainer.

Re: Still not losing
When I am able to get to the gym as much as I would like to, my body changes but I rarely ever see any weight changes.
If you are weight training, you may not lose any pounds for a little while, especially if you aren't that much over weight. Have patience.

Re: Still not losing
Thanks all. Part of my frustration is that my clothes are TIGHTER, I am tired all the time, and I see no results. Usually, when I aim to get fit, I see results right away. This time, I'm struggling.
Thanks for the encouragement.

Re: Still not losing
Talk to your trainer and your doc. There may be an underlying medical condition..or there may be something in the way you're eating that's causing you to retain.
PLEASE keep at it though. Even if you aren't seeing results, you're still doing great things for your heart and your muscles!

Re: Still not losing
I don't remember if you posted what your trainer is having you do and what you're eating. Feel like posting it? Then we might be able to help. IMO you should've lost more than 1 lb in a month and a half, and your clothes should NOT be tighter. Something obviously is not right.
