Kennel Cough??

My dog has been making wierd sounds, cant really describe it--just wanted to know if anyone can desrribe what kennel cough sounds like-or if they have had there dogs make like snorting sounds-and found out what it was--hope she is ok!!!!! TIA!!!!!!

My boys went through this once after a trip to the groomer. Denver made pig-like noises and Holden coughed up mucus. Whatever you are noticing, I would get your dog to the vet asap. Kennel cough clears up quickly with meds but you really should have a dr take a look. Hope your dog gets well soon

If it sounds like a "hack" - maybe just once - it is very likely kennel cough.

If it is snorting through the nose, like they can't get enough air, this could be allergies.

Either way, I would check with the vet.

As the day progressed she hasnt done it
She def is not hacking, more snorting-I know she has seasonal allergies because she had an ear infection and the vet told me-I will keep my eye on her-THanks :)
