anyone else nervous about "no" job for sept?
I am so nervous for DH, he of course is not. We NEED his income. It is killing me, and he definitely does not want to hear it any more from me about no job.

me. I haven't gotten ONE frieken phone call and I am p*ssed. It might be time for a new career path if it doesn't happen for me soon.

Good luck to all... it's so hard out there! frankly, there are way too many schools of ed. and not enough jobs! and often times, it's who you know that gets you the interview.... hang in there everyone!!!

Nervous isn't really the word, more like fed up. I never thought it was going to be THIS hard. I figured I'd settle for a district or have to drive a little but not sub for years and years. I am going to start off the year subbing and then look for another job probably right after the holidays.

Job dust to everyone!!!!  
Don't give up hope yet--people get hired as late as September!! My aunt got hired the second day of school as a sub, and when she got there, they asked her if she wanted a permanent job! You never know!!
