Update on Crate-Training PuppyDog
I posted a few weeks ago about crate-training PuppyDog. She is about 4.5, have never been in a crate, and we were not her original owners. She can be difficult. I was very nervous that this was going to be a nightmare, but had to be done because she must be in a crate in our new apt.
I am thrilled to say that it has been a piece of cake and I am SO proud of her! I was giving her treats in the beginning when she would go in and for the first few days, we would put the leash on her to lead her into the crate. Now I just make sure the bedroom door is closed (so she doesn't run in) and tell her to go in the crate and she does!!! My little dog-a-licious is so wonderful! She's even been chilling out in there sometimes during the day when we're home!

Glad to hear it went so smooth. Doggies are great they are such people pleasers and when you make such a big deal about the create they go bananas LOL
