Beaches Resort
I am going to look into the Beaches Resorts. My DH and I are thinking about taking our DD there next year. She will be 1yr. 3 months. Any feedback would be appreciated. How far are the airports from the actual resort?
Which resort is the most recommended? It is all inclusive right?

Re: Beaches Resort
I know there is one in the Bahamas - it's about a 10 min ride from the Nassau airport. It's a few blocks down from the Sandals resort, one of its affliates.
On our way to the Dolphin Swimming, we had to stop there to pick up some guests and the resort looked very nice from the outside.

Re: Beaches Resort
We stayed at a resort in Jamaica that neighbored the one in Negril. It looked OK...Not high-end, and generic kid food--people were eating chicken fingers, fries, etc. It looked middle of the road. Discarded plates and food around their beach area, but the pool area looked nice.

I know a family that went in June with their two daughters ages 2 and 5. They loved it. Said there was so much for the kids to do.

We went to Beaches in Turks & Caicos. It's GREAT. There's so much for the children to do. Although your daughter is a little young, they still have a children's pool, there's a show every night. The characters walk around all day or you can see where they will be thoughout the day. They have kid friendly restaurants.
The airport is about 20 minutes from the resort, not far at all. I'm not sure if you can get a direct flight there. I remember we had to fly to Miami and wait an hour or so and then to Turks.
It's definitely worth it.
