Thank You Notes
If you just went on an inteview- and the person you interviewed with gave you their card with their email address on it- is it more appropriate to write an email, or send an actual card?
Also- What do you say? Thank you for taking the time to meet with me? What else?

Re: Thank You Notes
I have always sent an email thank you.
here's a copy & paste job from a TY I sent once:
Dear _____,
Thank you for taking the time to meet with me today. The ______ position you have available sounds very interesting. The job, as you presented it, is a very good match for my skills and interests.
Should you require additional information, feel free to contact me at anytime. Again, thank you for the opportunity to interview with _________.
Kindest regards,

Re: Thank You Notes
I always send an email thanking them for their time and telling them I enjoyed whatever we discussed. I usually mention something specific, to help them remember what we discussed.
I also mention that if they need any further info, samples of work, references, etc, that they can freely call and request.

Re: Thank You Notes
i do both. and include something about why you feel you're a good fit and if you remember a personal detail (i.e. - someone i just interviewed with is getting married in may) try to weave it in to show that you were paying extra attention.

Re: Thank You Notes
I would do both. I love getting hand written thank you notes from people that I interview, but time is more of a priority. You need to make sure that you follow up immediately, therefore you should send an email as soon as you can. It will make a strong impression.
