Where did you deliver/ what OB did you use??

I'm trying to find a doctor who delivers at a hospital that has a NICU and specializes in twin births. I am in eastern suffolk so I would like to deliver at either Stony Brook or St. Charles. My current OB only delivers at Southampton and there is no NICU so if there are ANY problems at all the babies are shipped to Stony Brook and you are left behind- I don't want to have to worry about that. Any advice is appreciated (told you I would have a LOT of questions )

I delivered at Stony Brook and LOVED it. I loved the fact that you have your own rooms, and after delivereing twins vaginally for 24 hours and I needed the rest.
My OB's were Dr. Porte (he delivered my boys), Dr. O'keefe, and Dr. Julie Welischar.
They are located in Setauket and Rocky Point and are WONDERFUL dr.s.

Delivered at NSUH Manhasset. The practice I used specializes in multiple births/high risk pregnancies.

Seems too far for you

I think Stony Brook is your best option for where you are located.

I didn't deliver at Stony Brook but I've heard RAVES (from several people) about Jennifer Johnson, MD. I'm not sure what her practice is but I'd do a google search, if you're interested.
