Never.
It's very bad for you and can actually lead to more yeast infections etc by flushing out all the good bacteria that kill the yeast down there....

i thought it was well known that you shold never douche  it can be really bad for you. however, i am on the "young" side so maybe that's why i never did.

REALLY?? No one ever told me that! Including my GYN!! I've only done it once in my whole life when I was like 19 or 20 but never again since. WOW! See, I do learn something new everyday here in the wonderful world of LIF!!

But I guess my question is this... if it's so bad for you, and so many ladies say they would never do it, how are the douche companies still in business?
(but then again, cigarette companies are still in business so there must be people out there who douche!)

Agreed...
i was told it can actualyl alter the chemistry down there and give you an infection or cause dryness.
