Anyone's DH Had a Hernia?
DH has a groin hernia and a umbilical hernia. We don't like our surgeon and find his advice very confusing. Would anyone be willing to tell me what kind of surgery they had? Thanks!

I think DH's was umbilical. I will find out more later when he comes home and FM you.

Thanks in advance! Specifically, I am wondering about the "plug and patch" surgery, and also what the recovery was like (how many days until he could walk around). Thanks!!

I had an umbilical hernia repaired the day after it happened in July 01. They put mesh in my stomach. I was in pain for a week. Back to 100% after about 3 weeks
