Those who wear prescription glasses, what do you do about sunglasses

I am a huge contact lens wearer, but just found out I have a corneal ulcer which is healing. I cannot wear my contacts for a while. So now it is glasses for a while. What do you do about sunglasses?

I got prescription ones from Walmart, regular and sunglasses. you can't even tell my sunglasses are prescription.

I have both prescription regular glasses and sunglasses. I got the sunglasses through an insurance discount program.

I have transitions. The only down side to them is they don't work in the car.

I have perscription sunglasses.

sunglasses should always be worn over contacts. the contact being it lays on the eyes can "turn up" the exposer uv rays to the eyes. if you are looking for a wraped kind of a sunglass, you need to have the sunglasses messured as not all can be used with a rx. the best sunglasses to be used are the polarized as they really cut the glare out. good luck and if i can help anymore just let me know

Prescrition sunglasses. They look like regular sunglasses. Got them at Lenscrafter.

I hate wearing contacts unless I am going somewhere. I dont have prescription sunglasses so i dont wear sunglasses at all which my dr. keep yelling at me for b/c I have blue eyes. I have to get prescriptions sunglasses just havent gotten around to getting them yet.

I have Rx sunglasses.

DH's vision has been so bad with his corneal ulcers that his vision in the affected eye is worse with his regular glasses than without. His cornea specialist told him to wear a contact lens in his good eye and nothing in his affected eye and wear non-Rx sunglasses when outside.
He's managed fine that way (since April ) and adjusted to wearing one lens after a few days.

ETA: DH also tried clip on sunglasses that attach to his regular glasses. CVS sells them.

I had lasik done about 3 yrs ago....but when I wore glasses, I had prescription sunglasses. I got them at Lenscrafters, the price wasn't too bad.....and it was totally worth it when we went on vacation!!

I very rarely wear my glasses but when I do, I have prescription sunglasses. I had an old pair of glasses turned into sunglasses.

I have a clip that goes on my glasses to convert them to sunglasses. I specifically picked these frames b/c they had that option. The clip is a bit , but not as much as a second pair of glasses.

My glasses have a magnetic sunglass attachment that they came with. I've chosen this type the last few times.
